- I gave this book to my Dad for Christmas and he LOVED it! He is somewhat of a historian himself and he appreciated the volume of photos and info in this little book. I recently purchased another Images of America series for Catalina Island. The pictures were fantastic and were a tremendous complement to the museum tour on the Island.

- This is this best collection of historical photos ever published about Big Sur. Jeff Norman has written clear, accurate, and well researched descriptions for each of the photos. If you are interested in Big Sur this book belongs on your bookshelf.
